John van den Brom: I’m proud
At the post-match press conference, the Dutchman suggested that he was proud of his players. - The result is not only what we see on the field. It certainly matters, but that’s not all. Here I can say the same thing as my players in the dressing room. I’m proud of the team for what they tried to do, he said.
I am proud that they really fought for the result. We were a little unlucky with the end of the action. We are unhappy with the result, but for me we deserve more than this final result, he added.
Lech Poznań coach: we must look ahead
- I know it’s difficult, we’re losing our home game, we’ve got zero points in the championship, we’ve lost two games. However, we must keep our heads up and keep working. We have an important meeting on Thursday, we must look ahead and continue the fight, he concluded.
Lech Poznań players will have their next league rehab opportunity on Sunday 7 August when Zaglebie Lubin is away. Three days earlier, John van den Brom’s wards will play the first match of the third round of the European Conference League against Vikingur.
