“Looking at this figure, it may be scary, but Putin is not able to achieve it,” the military man says. In his opinion, many Russians evade service in various ways, especially since, contrary to propaganda messages, society does not show any enthusiasm for intensifying hostilities. - It could work if it was a “patriotic war”, if someone invaded Russia. But no one wants to attack her … - says the general.
Vladimir Putin announced mobilization. General Binick lists weaknesses
General Mechislav Benek analyzed the Russian mobilization system for Fact. He also pointed out his weaknesses.
- First of all, these people need to be appointed effectively. Secondly, they need to be trained. And thirdly, equip. Officers, instructors who could do this are interned from training centers and are at the front. So it will be very difficult to transform such a mass of people into some kind of organized units, the military lists. - If the Russian mobilization system is as efficient as their logistics, the mobilization of 100,000 will take about 1.5-2 months. soldiers. Unless, of course, there are mobilization cards in the analogues of our Military Commands. After all, they were recently set on fire and massively burned in Russia.
General Benek suspects that someone is setting fire to these teams so that their resources are virtually gone.
- The files are destroyed so that it is not known who to call and where he came from. The Russians do not have an electronic system that functions in civilized countries, the general explains. - But let’s say that we manage to appoint these 100 thousand. Then Russia will send them somewhere… Normally, you need to go to military units, but they are no longer there: either they are poorly reformed, or they are at the front. So the soldiers will be sent to mobilization points, where they will be trained as a sapper, tanker, coder and radio operator. Simple trades, such as marksmanship or machine gun operation, can be trained in a week or two. However, first such a soldier must be equipped, dressed, uniformed and introduced into the system …
General Benek emphasizes that part of the mobilized soldiers will be used to make up for the combat losses that are on the Russian side at the front in Ukraine.
- And these are big losses: about 40 thousand. soldiers killed, about 20 thousand injured. Shoigu talks about five thousand, but if this were true, then no mobilization was needed. They would fill in the gaps with current resources, which, apparently, do not exist, the military emphasizes.
Opposition and decision by one vote. This is the usual way to stop Putin
Mobilization in Russia. “Equipment half stolen, half drunk”
The Polish military also raised the issue of equipment required for recruits.
- Some equipment is at the front, but it is partially damaged, partially out of order, partially missing. So it will have to be removed from the warehouse. But for this it needs to be mothballed, repaired, because, as in Russia, the equipment can be half stolen, half drunk, - says General Benek.
The general adds that the Russians may have thousands of tanks in reserve.
- They definitely have T-72s, but in 20 years they may not be in full combat readiness. They even have T-62 tanks, but they need a communications system, optoelectronics. All this must be in working order, and it also takes time to repair it. We also need spare parts, but the Russians don’t have them, because they have already sent them to those units that are now at the front, the general lists.
However, he adds that such a large number of soldiers should not be underestimated.
- That’s a lot of troops. It only needs to be translated into quality. Now in Russia this quality is not entirely important, the mass is important, and this mass, sent to the front, behaves scandalously, suffers losses, degenerates morally and mentally. As a result, war crimes are being committed, sums up General Mieczysław Benek.
