PSL wants to go to elections with Poland 2050? Holovnya told Fact what he thinks about it

Tusk was furious with the MP who wanted to suspend the payment of the 14th old-age pension. We know how he will reveal it.

Shimon Holovnya: “The time for such negotiations and agreements will probably come in late autumn”

We asked Szymon Holovnia if the scenario of joining forces between Poland 2050 and PSL is realistic. Is one common electoral list a possible solution or is Poland 2050 interested in such a solution?

- Today there is no decision on tactical pre-election alliances. Poland 2050 has consistently taken the position that the time for such negotiations and agreements is likely to come in late autumn so as not to burn good ideas with a premature announcement and when the prospect of an election approaches accordingly. I am in touch with all the leaders of democratic groups, of course, including, of course, with Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh, but these are not negotiations on joint electoral lists for the Seimas. It seems that first we will work out - and it looks like we will work out - solutions that will allow us to win the elections to the Senate, - Holovnya tells Faktu.

Szymon Holownia briefly speaks, whom we ask about which program points or areas of Poland 2050 and PSL agree. - We have not had such negotiations yet, and we have not carried out such analyzes.

Marek Sawicki: “We are so close that we can talk about a common list”

PSL MP Marek Sawicki told us that the People’s Party and Poland 2050 are ideologically close to each other on some issues.

- It is not yet time to form a coalition, but from the point of view of the program, I think that we are so close that we can talk about a common list, - Marek Sawicki tells us. He adds that this rapprochement is mainly about economic and social issues.

Paulina Hennig-Kloska, a member of the Poland 2050 circle, tells us that a lot depends on how PiS support is shaped.

- At the moment we are preparing to launch on our own, but we do not refuse any scenarios. The start in the opponent’s two blocks has always been the closest for us. In many places, the democratic opposition has common ground. But this autumn will show whether it makes sense to block the opposition. If PiS support falls below 30%, it will no longer be needed. There should be debates between opposition leaders. Shimon Holovnya has been encouraging this for a long time, the deputy tells Fact.
