Hornet bites are rare and usually do not pose a danger to a healthy person, although this depends on the type of insect. Infants and young children are at the greatest risk of complications from insect bites. It is also dangerous for allergy sufferers, for whom even a small dose of poison can pose a threat to health and even life as a result of anaphylactic shock.

To keep the cop out of your home, you can use wasp and hornet repellant, available at garden stores. You can also use peppermint, eucalyptus and wormwood essential oils. It is best to rub them into the cracks of windows and doors, which will scare away insects. However, they do not last long, since the volatile substances contained in them quickly evaporate and cease to act. So you have to repeat the steps every few days. Among the homemade patents for hornets are plastic bottle traps, into which you should pour some juice or other sweet drink. Attracted by the smell, the insect enters the bottle, which can be taken outside and released. However, you need to know that if an insect has made a nest somewhere, it will return to this place.
