Recently, many citizens have begun to complain that they find “incorrect” visits to the doctor in the “Helsi” system. The Ministry of Health explained what to do in this case.
“First of all, we would like to remind you that Helsi is just one of many information systems that help connect physicians to the central database of the E-Health System. It is through such systems that physicians enter data about the services provided to the patient into the UHSS. And patients can use them to track data about their health. Most of the records that patients consider “incorrect” are actually appointments during which vaccinations were made, procedures or medical examinations, etc. Do not confuse them with fake visits. Of course, during the work of doctors with the system, data on visits may appear erroneously (we remember that no one has canceled the human factor) and may be abused by doctors. There is strict responsibility for the latter.”- the department said in a statement.
They noted that the NSZU analyzes each entry and identifies inconsistencies. According to statistics, about 10% of targeted entries are charged.
“Last year alone, 16,670 duplicate records were found on the primary account, which made it possible to avoid extra payments of more than 5 million hryvnias. More than half a million patient death records were also checked. Thanks to this, funds were not spent on the services of “dead souls”. This made it possible to redistribute 158 million hryvnias”- reported in the ministry.
The algorithm of actions in case you notice a fake visit in your personal account:
- File a complaint with the National Health Service at 16-77, or follow the link. (https://service.e-health.gov.ua/gromadyanam)
- Or apply with a written complaint directly to the management of the medical institution where the visit is recorded.
“These actions will help the state respond more quickly and send monitoring teams to medical institutions, which receive numerous complaints. Each complaint is checked and in case of a possible violation, including it is transferred to law enforcement agencies”- noted in the Ministry of Health.
