In the capital, an extraordinary event with flight and pursuit barely occurred: the Darnitsky Baths establishment on the water broke away from the shore and began to drift along the Dnieper.
The fact is that the watercraft (a landing stage with baths) was moored to the embankment near the Darnitsky Bridge for a long time, and when the water level in the river changed, the mooring cables broke. And the baths began to drift along the Dnieper.
In one of the videos, the girl said that at the last moment she managed to go ashore before the craft began to set sail.
Fortunately (or unfortunately), there was no sensation: the bathhouses did not float away from the shore. It turns out that the complex was supported by another underwater cable.
“Today our employees checked the information - the baths are in place. Due to changes in the water level in the Dnieper, problems arose with the cable with which the craft was attached to the shore. The owners assure that everything has already been fixed and none of the visitors were injured. The craft did not sail far from the shore, because it was held on by another cable. The floating complex was returned to its place,” - Kyiv police told TSN.
It should be noted that the Darnitskie Bani establishment, built in the 1950s, is an architectural monument of local significance.
Let us also recall how, on the eve of the war, a mass brawl occurred on the Kyiv embankment right during Epiphany bathing.
