Yevgeny Prigozhin, a financier of the Wagner Group, who recently threatened the Russian military leadership to leave their positions in Bakhmut and demanded the supply of ammunition, announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had attacked the place where Ukrainian prisoners were allegedly kept.
In an audio recording posted online, Prigozhin claims that after the Wagnerites refused to take Ukrainian fighters prisoner, they had a certain number of prisoners to exchange. He stated that HIMERS allegedly flew to the place where they were kept, and promised later to voice more accurate information about the dead.
At the same time, the founder of the Internet resource Gulagu.net Vladimir Osechkin voiced a slightly different version: “HIMERS struck at the headquarters, rembase and SB of the Wagner PPK. A source close to Prigozhin reported the death of a number of employees of the “special department” and the CPP security service. The source reports that the surviving employees of the “special department” and the fighters of one of the Wagner SHO, on the personal instructions of Yevgeny Prigogine, are bringing the bodies of the killed fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the place of strikes in order to stage the death of Ukrainian soldiers allegedly in captivity … The source reports that from HIMERS strikes killed more than 50 Russians, whom the Wagner Security Service illegally kept in the basements of torture and tortured for refusing to fight against Ukraine.”
Recall that recently the former Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia Mikhail Mizintsev, who is called the “Mariupol Butcher”, joined PIK.
