The governor of the Saratov region of Russia, Roman Busargin, said that “there were no emergencies in residential areas of the city” and that “there is absolutely no threat to residents.” According to him, civilian infrastructure facilities were not damaged, and information about the “incident at a military facility” is being checked by law enforcement agencies.
Meanwhile, Russian telegram channels report that equipment was still damaged at the airfield where strategic aviation is based.
