From the preliminary findings of the emergency services working at the scene of the accident, we learn that, most likely, the safety device that was supposed to protect the players from falling out was not properly closed.
The 12-year-old slid off the seat while the carousel was moving at maximum speed, Bild reports.

The children were hospitalized
Immediately after the incident, the children were taken to the nearest hospital. Initially, the media reported a serious injury to a 4-year-old boy. Fortunately, the alarming messages were corrected by doctors. Children’s lives are not in danger.
“It all ended in fear. The injuries of the youngest girl were not as serious as it seemed, ”the German newspaper reported.
Bild also reported that a 12-year-old girl can speak of great happiness. Aside from shock and minor bruises and abrasions, she was not seriously injured.
The case of the accident is being investigated by German investigators who are trying to establish its details. The amusement park is still open to visitors, with the exception of the carousel where the dangerous event took place.
