Fans are gearing up for another season of the thrilling World War II drama. World in fire. The series returns to the small screen with another season that covers various historical events from a human point of view. After the premiere, the series created Peter Bowker and led by Jonah Hauer-King was an instant hit with fans, and the next season looks no less exciting.
The trailer shows new and familiar faces and begins with Hauer-King addressing invisible soldiers before being welcomed to “hell”. More importantly, it seems that Hauer-King’s Harry brought the remnants of the war home with him. The promo reveals another interesting season with lots of emotional plot points, themes of love, and deceit and lies as we learn more about the history of the Webster family. We also learn more about Nancy, who will have to leave Berlin when Robina’s suffering finally comes to light. Overall, the season promises a compelling story full of twists and turns that will take viewers to war times and expand on their humane implications.

Set against the backdrop of the early years of the war, the first season follows Harry, a translator at the British Embassy in Warsaw, who falls in love with Kasia, a local Polish woman. As they journey through life and love in a war-torn world, the series takes us through famous events such as the Battle of River Plate, the Dunkirk evacuation, and more. The upcoming season will continue the timeline as we see the story continue with our favorite characters.
