The streaming platform announced today that they will finally debut Unattractive Betty in the directory. And the best part: you can share killer poncho and get ready to drink, because all four seasons start at once on August 1st!
Unattractive Betty tells the story of Betty Suarez (Ferrera), a young girl who gets a job as a secretary at one of the most influential fashion magazines in the world, Mode. Betty is constantly bullied by her colleagues because she hardly fits the model type, but gradually begins to win people over with her kindness and relentless optimism. The series also starred the Broadway legend. Vanessa Williams as Mode creative director Wilhelmina Slater, Eric Mabius as fashion empire heir Daniel Meade, Michael Ury as a devoted assistant to Wilhelmina Mark and Becky Newton as Amanda, Mode’s secretary with zero Fs. Anna Ortiz, Tony Plana And Mark Indelicato played family members Betty Hilda, Ignacio and Justin, respectively.
