Almost a year after Mia (KaMillion) and Sean (Aida Osman) started their rap career from the first season rap shit, the duo is ready to take their careers to the next level. New teaser trailer for the second season of the series Issa RayIn the hit comedy series, best friends go on tour and face new challenges as their fame in the rap industry continues to rise. After a climactic ending that threatened everything, Mia and Shauna find themselves at a crossroads, weighing whether it’s better to be who they are or to submit to the whims of the industry. Along with the release date, Max announced that their second tour would start on August 10th.
It’s immediately clear how far Mia and Shauna have come since the first season in the trailer, now they’re awkwardly filming a music video together ahead of their Reina Reign opening tour (Kat Canning). They have achieved great success and the duo are understandably excited to be able to show their rap skills around the country and perform in front of the biggest crowds. It’s their time to shine, but it doesn’t come without sacrifice on the part of everyone involved as they hit the road. Mia was forced to leave her daughter behind because of the opportunity, although this only serves as additional motivation to go out and kill her every night. It looks like playing second fiddle to Reign will also be a source of tension for the upcoming season as Mia and Shauna look to define themselves as artists in the music industry.
rap shit earned a lot of love last year for their comedy, and while there’s plenty of drama to come as the duo’s career rises, the trailer also never misses a laugh. During the Season 2 renewal, Head of Original Content at HBO Max, Sarah Aubrey, promised “more intrigue and temptation” to come, and it certainly looks like new spicy performances with Reyna. Part of the comedy also comes from their collaboration, as Mia and Shauna realize by the end how unfair she is wearing Gucci while they are wearing “IHOP”.

Ray returns as head rap shit A Fresh Journey Through the Multiverse as Jessica Drew in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse With Sirita Singleton returned as showrunner. Before the second season, the team left Florida for the California coast as the production sought to take advantage of new tax breaks, but it’s also a fitting move given Mia and Shauna’s upcoming nationwide tour. KaMillion and Osman will join their bus tour of the country with the returning actors. Jonica Booth like chastity, R. J. Siler like Lamont and Daniel Augustine like Maurice.
