In the end, Dan HarmonNew episode Krapopolis finally set a release date. The long awaited animated series Rick and Morty co-creator waited a long time, but the wait is almost over. FOX recently announced that Krapopolis will make its official debut on Sunday, September 24, following an NFL doubleheader scheduled for the same evening. The first two episodes will premiere on October 1 before he joins the Animation Domination network’s regular lineup.
The action takes place in ancient Greece, Krapopolis focuses on a dysfunctional family made up of gods, humans, and monsters who are trying to rule one of the world’s first cities. Of course, it is not always easy to work with a family. So when they build their new domain, they should also try not to kill each other in the process. Along the way, the king of men Tyrannis (Richard Ayoade), will meet different characters from Greek mythology who take part in rather strange situations.
Krapopolis was officially commissioned for the series in 2022 and was originally set to debut that same year. FOX even announced the series at San Diego Comic-Con, although the release date was eventually pushed back (and then pushed back again) and it was set to a new date in September. Delays aside, FOX quickly showed their faith in the series and in Harmon by renewing a double renewal in March 2023. The series was created by Harmon, who, along with executive producer Steve Levy and showrunner of the first season Jordan Young. Seasons 2 and 3 will host the show Alex Rubens. Additional voice cast includes Hannah Waddingham, Matt Berry, Pam MurphyAnd Duncan Trussell.
FOX has set a release date for another AniDom series
Together with KrapopolisIt seems that FOX has set an October 1st release date for their three main Animation Domination series - The Simpsons, Bob’s BurgersAnd Family man. The Simpsons Season 35 kicks off with AniDom’s full return at 8:00 pm ET, leading to the newest addition to the roster Krapopolis. Bob’s Burgers Season 14 starts at 9pm ET and ends Family man Season 22 at 9:30 pm ET. The returning trio of the show also received a double renewal earlier this year. The Simpsons confirmed until season 36, with the last two shows confirmed for seasons 15 and 23, respectively. FOX has yet to set a premiere date. Great North Season 4
