One of the most beloved superhero movies is about to have its own Funko Pop! Collectible movie poster. Funko (via Entertainment Earth) has unveiled a new movie poster! set for the director Christopher Nolan2008 Batman movie The Dark Knight. Pictured is a Batman movie poster (Christian Bale) stands in front of a building with a bat symbol made of fire. The figurine is due out in August.
The body of the set measures approximately 17 inches high, 11 inches wide, and 4 inches deep. It’s also important to note that the hard protective case is non-openable and the two figures inside are non-removable. Pop! figures of Batman Bale and the Joker, played by Heath Ledger in film. Both figures are approximately 3 and 3/4 inches in height. The Batman figurine is wearing the second costume used in the movie. At first The Dark KnightBruce Wayne still wears the bat costume from the 2005 movie. Batman Begins. After the fight with the Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy) and the mafia, Bruce asks Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman) to create a new suit that will allow him to turn his head. It was also a problem that the previous Batman movie enjoyed. Michael Keaton And Val Kilmer had to deal with in their costumes. The Joker figure is shown wearing the purple suit he is seen wearing for most of the film.
Since its release in 2008 The Dark Knight is still considered one of the best superhero films ever made. Ledger was posthumously awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of the Joker. Both Nolan and Bale later returned in the 2012 sequel. Rise of the dark knight, which was the final film of the trilogy. In the sequel, Batman went up against Tom HardyBain’s version. Nolan and The Dark Knight Trilogy writer David S. Goyer later develop story for 2013 Man of Steelwhich started the DC Extended Universe.
Two new Batman Movies are currently in development
Batman fans can look forward to two upcoming films featuring different versions of the Caped Crusader. Matt Reeves will return to film a 2022 sequel Batman, in which Robert Pattinson starred as the Dark Knight. Like Nolan’s version, Reeves’ version of Batman is more down to earth and realistic compared to Tim Burtonversion or version of the DCEU being played Ben Affleck. The younger version of Pattinson’s Batman has also only recently begun his war on crime, much like the version of Bale in his first two films. Batman - Part 2 The release is scheduled for October 3, 2025. The upcoming film will also feature a new version of Batman. Brave and bold. This version of Batman will exist in the upcoming DC Universe and live in the same world as David Korenswetsuperman from Superman: Legacy. Brave and bold will lead Andy Muschietti. Muschietti previously directed Flash a film in which Keaton and Affleck played Batman.
