Maya MS It premiered in 2018 as a spin-off of the fan-favorite FX Network series about biker gangs. Sons of Anarchy. After the original series ran 92 episodes over a seven-year period, a spin-off show took over. Now that its fifth and final season is now streaming on FX, Maya MS sees this journey come to an end before our very eyes. However, as the show draws to a close, the tension and action is still feverish and I lack confidence in this new promo teaser for the fourth episode of the season.
As teased in the official trailer released last month, the Santo Padre charter of the Mayans motorcycle club and its determined leader Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (JD Pardo) will not go out without a loud pop. New promo teaser for the 4th episode of the 5th season called I see black light, begins with news that most leaders fear. Betrayal. “One of our brothers worked with the feds,” says an EZ source. “We have a rat.” In “organizations” like the one EZ runs, trust and loyalty are everything. It can be the difference between life and death. Prison and freedom. But what happens when tension spreads to your family members? Can they all be trusted? Relationship between EZ and his brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas), was stretched, and the teaser continues to hint at it.
However, family feuds aside, EZ seems focused on restoring a culture of honesty that may be lacking in the ranks. “This is the Inner Circle, no secrets,” he says. This season, death will certainly overtake the members of the Mayan MC and may consume their leader as well. “We lost a lot of brothers,” Angel says to Ez, to which he simply replies, “That’s the price.” After all, the EZ and the Maya are “in a war they must win”.
Broken Saints
Series created Elgin James And Kurt Sutter, with James as showrunner. In the final season, the all-female biker gang Broken Saints appeared, led by Smile star Caitlin Stacy. Speaking to EW in a recent interview, Pardo discussed how the gang could be critical to the show. “Of course, an alliance is possible,” says Pardo. “What you will discover at the start of this season… the alliance is already in place. [between the Iron War and the cartel], and the Maya are excluded from this. Therefore, fearful of losing their position and power, they will try to form their own alliances.” Pardo noted that any potential alliance also creates “an opportunity for even more downfall”.
