In 2018, then-NBC series Manifesto flew away following a group of passengers who mysteriously disappeared and returned five and a half years later. Since its debut, the series has been canceled and taken over by Netflix, with the final batch of episodes starting this week on June 2nd. Josh Dallaswho plays Ben Stone, thinks there could be more to it than the final boarding call.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Dallas said: Manifesto has “the potential for a major sequel or spin-off”. He even offered some ideas about where the story could go: “Maybe we’ll go into the future and see Eden.” [Ben’s daughter] at 21 or so when she travels the world or we follow younger passengers. Maybe we will go back to 2013 and delve into the investigation along with [NSA director] Vance.”
In addition, Dallas noted earlier in an interview that if a sequel ever comes to fruition, it will give Ben the opportunity to apply everything he has learned in Manifesto and something else: “I wanted him to learn from his experience and be able to do it all over again from a new point of view. If there was a sequel after the final scene, I hope he would go ahead armed with the knowledge and tools to take a life.” as a gift.”
Why Manifesto Spin-off or sequel might work
How Manifesto The premiere of the second part of the fourth season has not yet taken place, it is not known how the series will end. However, with such a rich ensemble of characters and a storyline with many intriguing threads, new stories in Manifesto The universe can make the show even deeper. If passengers survive the impending date of death, a spin-off or sequel could show the psychological toll it takes on everyone. Characters like Eden or Robert Vance (Daryl Edwards) who didn’t have the opportunity to get deeper storylines had a chance to shine. In addition, the creator of the show Jeff Reik The show originally had a plan for six seasons. A spin-off or sequel to go a little further into what was cut in time.
Manifesto Season 4 Part 2 starts after Angelina (Holly Taylor) destructive actions with Omega Sapphire. More dangerous than ever, Ben and the others rush to stop her before the damage gets worse and Cal (Ty Doran) may be the only hope to defeat her and save everyone. Meanwhile, Ben and Saanvi (Parveen Kaur) try to work with registry 828 and Jared (J. Ramirez) and a grieving Mikaela (Melissa Roxburgh) work on Vocations.
