star Wars The universe will continue to expand on Disney+ later this summer with the release of Ahsoka, a live-action spin-off series. And there’s a lot to look forward to as the show will feature an onslaught of villains like Ivanna Sakhno as the mysterious Shin Hathi, a power user who will go toe-to-toe with Ahsoka. In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, Sakhno revealed what to expect from her character in the series.
“Shin is quite a pushy and ambitious wielder of the Force,” said Sakhno. “She is very skilled in lightsaber combat. She is a new character, so I don’t want to reveal too much about who Shin is, as I would like the viewers to be able to recognize her.” The character’s mysterious nature is not surprising given the franchise’s secretive nature towards its villains in the past. However, Sahno promises that Shin Hathi will still be different from other dark side users from other parts.
While the exact details of the character’s backstory remain under wraps, Sahno assures that Shin Hathi will still have a 3D side and hopes viewers can understand her motivations. “I hope that despite its dark nature, we can also expand our understanding of this darkness within someone and the reasons behind it. I love her. I really care about her so much and I feel like it’s my job. take care of her and protect her,” she added. Based on her action scenes from the trailer, Shin Hathi could be another memorable foe in the franchise best known for its iconic villains.

Ahsoka made her grand entrance into star Wars universe as Padawan Anakin Skywalker with the release of an animated spin-off series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which remains one of the most popular shows in the franchise. Given the popularity of the series, Ahsoka quickly gained popularity, becoming one of the franchise’s most popular characters. After years of speculation, she finally made her film debut in the series’ second season. The Mandalorianwhere was she pictured Rosario Dawson. With the new live show coming, fans have a lot to look forward to as it promises to include plot threads from Star Wars Rebels, another animated series featuring the character. Until then, fans can continue to speculate until the series finally debuts this summer.
