It’s time to dive into the ocean again, because. Warner Bros. released the first trailer for the upcoming sequel. Mag 2: Trench. Five years after the first part was released in theaters, Jason Statham returns as Jonas Taylor, a rescue diver destined to survive these deadly encounters with prehistoric creatures. No one will be safe this summer with a worthy successor Jaws which is more than willing to keep people away from the coastline. And with new dangers lurking around every corner of the seabed, Statham won’t be able to handle it all alone.
Sienna Guillory, Cliff Curtis, And Shuya Sofia will join the actor as part of the sequel’s cast, preparing to come face to face with one of the biggest sea creatures in human history. Guillory, who in addition to the acting path made a successful modeling career, was previously seen in Clifford: Big Red Dogwhich gave her a lot of experience to learn how to handle animals that are bigger than they should be. On the other hand, Curtis had his share of ocean troubles during last year’s Avatar: Path of Water, as the leader of the Metkain. Aside from the similarities between the scopes of the projects, there’s no doubt that the cast of this summer adventure is more than well-equipped to have a good time.
In the first film, Jonas is tasked with rescuing the crew of a nuclear submarine that has become disabled. When he gets to the crash site, the vehicle is attacked by an unidentified creature. Jonas reports the incident to his superiors, who accuse him of imagining things due to the pressure he was under while underwater. It would be too late when Jack MorrisRainn Wilson), the billionaire behind the mission to discover part of the Mariana Trench, came to the conclusion that megalodons are not extinct and that humans should stay as far away from them as possible.
What will happen Meg 2 Be about?
The inspiration for the sequel is a 1999 book. TrenchTo Steve Alten. In this novel, the character played by Statham has now devoted himself entirely to the study of the megalodon after discovering that it survived during the events of the first story. What Jonas never expected was that he would also come face to face with the Kronosaurus, a short-necked, water-dwelling dinosaur. It remains to be seen what other creatures from the past might appear on the show, or if Taylor will have what it takes to keep everyone safe from historical monsters.
