Special fan screenings for James GunnThe upcoming sequel will play in twenty-five different cities across the US and Canada, allowing a limited number of people to watch the adventure on April 28, a full week before it hits theaters around the world. There will only be one screening per city participating in the process, so don’t waste your time trying to get tickets to the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie before everyone else has a chance to do so.
In the new movie, the Guardians must dive deep into the Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) past when the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji) threatens the universe with his plan to form a perfect society. As Rocket states in one of the movie’s trailers, the villain doesn’t really care about perfection, he just doesn’t like being different from everything else. Rocket’s past was teased in previous installments of the franchise, and the effects of the experiments that were performed on him were visible on his wounded body. However, the character did not want to talk about it, and the mystery remained unsolved until now.
Another storyline that the main characters will go through this time is what will happen between Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and Gamora’s variant (Zoe Saldanha), what was left on this Earth after the events Avengers: Endgame. When ThanosJosh Brolin) was looking for the Infinity Stones in the 2018 blockbuster, Avengers: Infinity War, he was forced to sacrifice Gamora to obtain the Soul Stone. But when a time-traveling version of the Mad Titan arrived to fight Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in the sequel, his version of his daughter stayed there after the battle.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Say goodbye to the team
After almost a decade of adventuring together, this intergalactic family will take a step back from the spotlight as the Marvel Cinematic Universe shifts its focus to new faces. Gunn and cast guardians the films have toyed with the idea of some of the team members appearing in future projects, with it being absolutely clear that this will be the last time the director sits behind the camera for a film featuring these characters. It remains to be seen which guardians will stick around to save the galaxy when it needs it, and some just won’t make it out of the trilogy.
