Short but trippy clip not so different from other teasers and first performances that came out, contains a cover of Supertramp”Goodbye Stranger” as Phoenix Handsome walks down the path with the background shifting behind him. Making his way down an alley that can be seen as a metaphor for life, Bo struggles with the elements changing from extreme heat to freezing cold. The snow blows in his face, but Bo does not stop and continues to walk towards the end, which is not visible. The surreal undertones of the film are fully shown in the scenery surrounding the protagonist, when the pink mountains and jagged peaks smoothly into each other. It is with these well-designed backdrops that Bo’s journey will be incredible to watch in IMAX.

Bo is afraid focuses on the main character as they go through different stages of life. Beau struggled all his life, not knowing who his father was, and under the care and over-watchful eye of his mother. Other than that, it’s unclear if Bo’s pilgrimage is real or something he made up in his mind, but one thing’s for sure: with Asta at the helm, the plot will definitely lean heavily on trauma.

Step into the role of Bo’s overbearing mother, Mona, Patti LuPone (American Horror Story) with a younger version of her character played by Zoe Lister Jones (new girl).
