No, your eyes do not deceive you. It looks like Jordan Peele is working on another movie, and it will be released sooner than you think. It was announced today that a new Jordan Peele film is in development. The new movie is due for release on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 and should be an interesting Christmas release to say the least. Also announced today is a currently untitled animated film from production company Peele’s Monkeypaw. The film will be a horror / thriller. It was previously scheduled to be released on September 27, 2024, but no date has been given at this time.
No titles were released for any of the projects. Slated for a crucial Christmas release, Jordan’s new film will be his fourth film. Peel’s previous three films cemented his reputation as one of the most iconic directors in the modern film industry. His 2017 film Get out was a huge success, proving that Peel is both a filmmaker and a preeminent explorer of the horror genre. Both Us And nope once again proved his abilities as a director in the horror genre. In the past, Peele has given recommendations in the horror genre to works that have influenced his own projects.
Saw’s last movie nope, was shown in theaters last summer. The film was Peel’s first theatrical release since the pandemic. The project, like his previous works, played with familiar genre tropes and destroyed the expectations of the public. The film was released to streaming early last year. None of the upcoming film projects have a title, and there is very little information about the plot or premise. However, no matter the direction Peel takes, his fourth film is sure to provide a unique and visionary perspective. An untitled animated horror/thriller is also being kept under wraps. Plot details have yet to be revealed. However, it looks like Peel’s fans will be left hanging on one unfinished project, his and a former creative partner.
