As fans look forward to heading to theaters to see Spiderman across universes Later this year, the makers shared some news and art to give us a glimpse into the making of the film. The latest set of images shared by the official Through the universes of spiders The Twitter page combines new and old to create a four-part story that paints an image of Peter B. Parker’s journey to becoming a father.
The four-image set begins with a screenshot from the 2018 Oscar winner’s climax. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Versewhere Peter and Miles Morales have a quick chat about how proud Peter is of the new Spider-Man. There is a line in this scene where Peter asks himself, “Do I want kids.” The following image shows a brand new concept art of Peter taking care of his daughter May, while the second sketch shows him hanging upside down with May in a baby carrier that appears to be very secure. The next image is a Mayday Parker concept art that was unveiled in December 2022 and the fourth and final image is a screenshot from the movie trailer showing Peter walking into the scene with his comfortable coat and pram and of course , with his Spiderman costume underneath. In just four images, we see this unfortunate Spider-Man’s journey as he learns the lessons he learned from the first movie and becomes a happy and caring father.
Jake Johnson is set to return to reprise his role as Peter B. Parker as is Shameik Moore like Miles, Hailee Steinfeld like Gwen Stacy Brian Tyree Henry as the father of Miles Jefferson Davis, and Luna Lauren Velez as Miles’ mother Rio Morales. Other confirmed cast members include Jason Schwartzman as a villain from The Blur with the ability to create holes in spacetime, a suitable antagonist for a story revolving around the multiverse. Daniel Kaluuya will play Spider-Punk / Hobart “Hobie” Brown, while Spider-Woman, aka Jessica Drew, will be voiced by Issa Ray, along with many other actors. Notably, Nicolas Cage will not be returning to reprise his role as fan-favorite Spider Noir character.

Through the universes of spiders leads Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powersand Justin K. Thompsonwho will also direct the film’s already-announced sequel. Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Together with Lord and Miller Amy Pascal, Avi Aradand Christina Steinberg return as producers with Alonso Ruvalcaba co-production. Lord and Miller will also be credited as writers for the film, along with David Callaham and In spider verse director Peter Ramsey also returns as an executive producer along with Aditya Sood.
