Charter Santo Padre must make one last trip. Channel FX reported that the network’s popular drama series Maya MS will end with a fifth season. The announcement was made today during the 2023 Television Critics Association winter press tour by the FX boss. John Landgraf.
Series One It premiered in 2018 and is a spin-off of another popular FX series. Sons of Anarchywhich ended in 2014. The action takes place in the fictional city of Santo Padre, located on the border of California and Mexico. The story follows E. Z. Reyes, played by JD Pardoas he makes his way through a dangerous life of crime as part of the Santo Padre Mayan Motorcycle Club charter.
The series was renewed for a fifth season back in July 2022 at San Diego Comic-Con, although it was not reported at the time that the series would end with this renewal. During the SDCC panel, Nick Gradpresident of original programming at FX Entertainment, said about season 5 renewal Maya MS:
“The Maya have fought for respect, territory and power for four intense seasons that have set the stage for an explosive fifth season that will test their very survival under EZ’s newly announced leadership. Elgin James and the creative team, a brilliant cast, crew and our partners at 20th Television keep fans coming back for more and we’re ready to go with them for another season.”

The series was created Kurt Sutter and Elgin James, Sutter, creating Sons of Anarchy and James acting as Maya MS showrunner. James and Sutter are not only co-creators of the series, but also executive producers of the series. Hilton Smith. Along with Pardo, Maya MS stars Clayton Cardenas, Danny Pino, Sarah Bolger, Emilio Rivera, Carla Baratta, Michael Irby, Raul Max Trujillo, Richard Cabral, Frankie Loyal, Joseph Lucero, Vincent Vargas, Edward James Olmos, Gino Ventoand J.
