But not every child in horror can be cool; it is a title reserved only for those who oppose the evil villains and lead the pack in order to survive whatever monster they fight. From post-apocalyptic sibling duo to Netflix’s latest female protagonist, the day is usually saved by these badass terrified kids.
10/10 Hershel Rea (The Walking Dead)
Being born into a zombie apocalypse can’t be easy, especially when your mom is filled with grief and resentment for the man who brutally murdered your father. But the young son of Maggie and the late Glenn the walking Dead turned out to be just like his parents.
Named after his late grandfather, Hershel Rhee may still have a lot to learn while training with Judith, but when it came time to face the man who killed his father, Hershel gained the confidence he could possibly have. received from his mother when he put Negan in his place.
9/10 Lexi Cross (“Chucky”)
Lexi Cross started season 1 Chucky like the show’s trademark mean girl, but as time went on, the rampage of the killer doll continued, Alyvia Alyn Lindthe character went from someone you wish you could kill to someone you always hope to survive.
Despite her initial bullying of Jake and his boyfriend Devon, teenage fear is assuaged for the two boys as she works with them to defeat Chucky, and she always does her best to protect her little sister - even if it means destroying her beloved Hood . Doll-guy in many cases.
8/10 Claudia (“Interview with the Vampire”)
Claudia may only be five years old at Ann Rice novel Interview with a Vampire, but in 2022 AMC In the series, she is an adult, trapped in the body of a 14-year-old teenager, played by a teenage actress. Bailey Bass. Teenage Claudia allowed the show to make this character much more badass than if she was just five years old.
Claudia is the daughter of Louis and Lestat, who was turned into a vampire by Lestat to save her life during a house fire. Although she appears young and innocent, Claudia becomes the vampire duo’s unexpected adversary as a fearless huntress throughout the series.
7/10 Jake Wheeler (“Chucky”)
At the beginning chucky, Jake WheelerZachary Arthur) is a shy, quiet and introverted teenage boy who enjoys collecting dolls and yearning for his beloved from afar. But as the season has grown, so has Jake, who has become the notable leader of his small but powerful group of friends.
Jake had a lot of cool moments in the show’s two seasons - from proudly confessing and shamelessly loving Devon to killing Chucky with his bare hands - but the most Jake did was allow himself to love and be loved by his found family.
6/10 Sabrina Spellman (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”)
All the main kids have their cool moments Chilling Adventures of Sabrina - from Theo’s revolutionary entry as a transgender for Rose, who is determined to fight genre blindness, but the protagonist surpasses them all. Sabrina Spellman (ur.Kiernan Shipka) is a young witch with a fearless character and audacity.
When Sabrina was balancing her sorcery and her life as a teenage girl, her coolest moment came in the first season when she summoned hellfire to burn Greendale’s Thirteen, something only three other witches could ever do.
5/10 Carl Grimes (The Walking Dead)
For the first few seasons The walking Dead, Rick’s son CarlChandler Riggs) was the most visible child in the group, learning at a young age to fight walkers and stand up to human villains. He may not always have done what his father said, but this character grew up during the apocalypse and proved to be strong, just like his father.
But the coolest and most heartbreaking thing Carl ever did was the strength to kill himself before he succumbed to a walker bite. Even in his final moments, Carl told his father that he dreamed of a world where he and his nemesis Negan would get along shortly before his devastating death.
4/10 Eddie Munson (“Stranger Things”)
Eddie started out as a dubious character in season 4 very strange things and has grown into one of the most beloved characters in the history of the show. Teen Eddie MunsonJoseph Quinn) debuted as a calm and collected Dungeons and Dragons master but ended up becoming one of the season’s coolest characters.
In order to save his new friends, Eddie decided to prove to himself and others that he was no coward by sacrificing himself to the Demo Bats at the Upside Down, luring them in with an amazing rendition of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” before finally succumbing to his wounds in the arms of his best man. Dustin’s friend.
3/10 Wednesday Addams (“Wednesday”)
Everyone’s new favorite TV character is Wednesday Addams from the Netflix series. Wednesday. Dark turn away Jenna OrtegaX Disney Channel days, this titular teen character turns the bad into the cool.
Without an ounce of guilt or regret, Wednesday does whatever she pleases while remaining emotionless throughout the first season of the series, and sends this already outcast child to a private school as punishment. But when a mysterious murder rocks her new town, Wednesday tries to uncover it when no one else can.
2/10 Judith Grimes (The Walking Dead)
If you thought Rick and Lori’s son was cool, he has nothing on their daughter Judith. Born and raised during the apocalypse, Judith only knew walkers, but she quickly proved she had what it takes to be a leader, just like her father.
Judith taught other kids how to kill walkers and formed unbreakable bonds with characters like Daryl and Maggie who raised her when her parents couldn’t. Whether it’s fighting villains or saving the lives of her friends, Judith may have been the coolest kid in the world. The walking Dead.
1/10 Eleven (“Stranger Things”)
very strange things mostly made up of children, but none of them compare to Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). This young man with psychokinetic abilities is special for many reasons, but the most important of them is that she has learned to love and care for her friends and family and protect them at all costs.
Eleven seems to do a few cool things each season, from sacrificing herself for her friends to often saving their lives, and this character is a tough girl that every little girl should look up to.
