Official trailer for Horror Train 2 has been released and the sequel to Tubi Original promises to pick up the thrill right where they left off. Philippe Gagnon directed horror train — a remake of the original 1980 slasher — and horror movie released on the platform in October.
Wasting no time to continue, Tubi’s Horror train 2 will be released on the streaming site on December 31st. The “Return from Hell” that the trailer talks about perfectly describes what the second iteration of the railroad nightmare is all about. Robin Alomar once again takes on the lead role of Alana, the female protagonist who survived the bloody night of Halloween while aboard the Horror Train. A year later, Alana attends another party on a terrifying train. And just like it was the first time, the party-goers begin to die one by one, and the killer remains at large. “Survivors are forced to make a trip on New Year’s Eve on the same train, where new evil awaits them, and frightened passengers must fight again to survive the trip,” Tooby describes.
Tim Rosen returned as the Wizard, the man who remains at the top of the list of suspects as the clown-masked killer. Further, Nadine Bhabha reprises her role as Sadie, Romy Veltman playing pet, Tori Barban funny and Matthew Villeneuve plays J.P. Dakota Jamal Wellman again Prez, the man responsible for organizing the dangerous party. Remake writers - Ian Carpenter and Aaron Martin — was also commissioned to take pen to paper for the film’s wild sequel. Graham Ludlow and Kaylee Kavanagh produced Horror train 2 with Brooke Peter and Shari Segal as executive producers. Filming took place in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, as well as horror train.
Original horror train was released over two decades ago Jamie Lee Curtis at the helm as Alana and David Copperfield plays the Wizard and Roger Spottiswoode directed the film. horror train the remake and sequel are not Gagnon’s first ventures as a horror/thriller film director, as he has been credited with several TV movies, including Twisted, Radio Silence, Sleeping and Sometimes a good kill. Most notably, Alomar played Aliyah 5 in Utopia Falls, a 10-episode sci-fi series that premiered on Hulu in February 2020.
Horror Train 2 will be available on December 31st on Tubi, with the official trailer available to view below.
