Christmas is recognized around the world as the season of the year when most people around the world gather to celebrate family, love, self-sacrifice and community. This is a special time, but not everyone feels this way about the Christmas season. So what happens when we have a new couple with different views on the holiday? Trailer for the new romantic holiday comedy, I believe in Santa, teases this premise. The film premiered on December 14 exclusively on Netflix.

The trailer starts with Lisa (Christina Moore) is struggling to assemble a blank for his least favorite holiday - Christmas. While it may be hard for her to get into the holiday spirit, it’s far from the same for Tom.John Ducey), which is extremely pumped up for the festivities. It doesn’t matter what each party prefers, but when you add in the fact that Tom and Lisa are in a new relationship five months ago, you see where the problems can be. The couple’s relationship seems to be one to die for. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you so happy,” remarks Lisa’s friend. However, she does not believe that everything is strewn with roses, and simply waits for another show to end.

Relationships are about small compromises here and there, but for Lisa, it can be too much. She soon realizes that Tom is not only a fan of the festivities, which in itself is bad enough for her, but also believes that Santa can be real. “I believe in Santa Claus,” Tom says to Lisa’s dismay. Love can be intimidating, but there is always a constant belief that we will all find someone who will love and accept us for who we are. In the new movie, even though Christmas is one man’s obsession and one woman’s nightmare, there’s a chance the couple might discover a deeper connection if Lisa gives Christmas another chance.
