Korean production squid game was released on Netflix to huge popularity domestically and internationally thanks to its combination of action, thrill and mystery! The ensemble cast focuses mainly on Song Ki Hoon, played by Lee Jung Jae, an unfortunate gambler who accepts a strange invitation to take part in a series of children’s cash games. The intensity rises as they realize that the games will cost them their lives.

However, this series is a little different from other thrillers about political corruption. squid game has twists and turns that make both the action from the games and the mystery of who participates and controls the games a wild and fun ride from start to finish.

“Mosquito Coast” (2021)

This popular show had an overarching spy mystery and individual stories of his private investigation that attracted his fans for a long time. With well-written characters, including his mother, played by Sharon Glessthis crime thriller turned out to be homely, charming and exciting!

“Prison Break” (2005–2017)

Jail break followed Lincoln, who was played Dominic Purcell when he is wrongly convicted of murdering the brother of the Vice President of the United States. His only hope is his brother Michael, played by Wentworth Miller who devises an elaborate plan to free his brother from prison.

This ambitious series had action, corruption and drama as Lincoln and Michaels’ master plan oscillated between success and complete failure. Twists and turns make this series exciting and with 4 seasons, a TV movie and another season released just under ten years later, there’s a lot to discover!

Altered Carbon (2018-2020)
