Actor Chris Evans shared a new look at his upcoming Christmas movie, Redwhere he is filmed opposite Dwayne Johnson. Production began this November and the cast has since shared tiny behind-the-scenes looks to either give fans a glimpse of what’s coming next or announce the latest additions such as J.K. Simmons like Santa, to the cast.

In the new black and white image, Evans and Johnson walk towards what appears to be a graveyard. Without giving any context, the actor simply captioned the image “Night Shot” along with a very appropriate Christmas tree emoji. It is snowing in the shot, and a sequence of actions appears to follow as the two characters walk resolutely towards the gate.

Billed as a “world action adventure comedy”, the film is being directed by jumanji franchise director and longtime associate of Johnson Jake Kasdan. Both Evans and Johnson have been part of commercially successful worldwide franchises and seem to be driving the trend forward. Red. And just like the adventure Christmas movies are back this season in full with David Harbor starring Cruel Santa already entertaining fans around the world. The original idea for the film came from the president of production at Seven Bucks Productions. Hiram Garcia, who is Johnson’s production partner. He previously described the feature as “Hobbs meets Miracle on 34th Streetand Netflix won the feature after a fierce competitive war last year.

In the film, Johnson plays Callum Drift, Evans plays Jack O’Malley, Simmons plays Santa Claus, and Bonnie Hunt like Mrs Claus. Next, rounding up the cast Kiernan Shipka, Lucy Liu, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Nick Kroll, Christopher Hivjuas well as Wesley Kimmel. With a talented cast and the team behind this feature, fans around the world will be looking forward to it.

Kasdan is directing from a script Chris Morganwho previously worked with Seven Bucks and Johnson on projects such as Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw, The fate of the furious, furious 7, Fast & Furious 6as well as fast five. Red manufactured by Kasdan and Melvin Mar under the Detective Agency banner, for the Seven Bucks, Johnson will produce with Hiram and Dani Garcia bye Sky Salem Robinson will be co-producer.
