Brazil is kicking off the holiday season with the world’s biggest pop culture convention this weekend, and we’ve got the scoop on all the latest CCXP 2022 trailers, posters, and revelations. The Sao Paulo celebrations are in full swing and from Warner Bros to Disney, everyone the major studios are bringing their best and brightest to prepare us for the 2023 movies and shows that are on the horizon. Paramount+ went to CCXP to showcase the long-awaited wolf cub movie.
New trailer released today at CCXP Paramount Teen Wolf: The Movie. The new footage offers fans a first look at Allison Argent and Scott McCall’s reunion, something we’ve been longing to see since we first learned that Allison would be returning.
Who comes back for Teen Wolf: The Movie?
The vast majority of the Teen Wolf cast will reprise their roles in the upcoming film. Namely, Tyler Hoechlin as well as Tyler Posey both will return as Derek Hale and Scott McCall – the duo will also serve as producers on the project. Holland Rodin also reprises her role as Lydia Martin and Shelley Hennig returns as Malia Tate. Star Gates star J. R. Bourne will return as Chris Argent opposite Melissa Ponziowho will reprise her role as Melissa McCall. Colton Haynes returns as Jackson Whittemore, Dylan Sprayberry returns as Liam Dunbar, Chilin rambo will return as Mason Hewitt, and Jan Boen will appear as Peter Hale. Orny Adams will also return as Bobby Flinstock’s trainer, Seth Gilliam returns as Dr. Alan Deaton, Ryan Kelly will appear as Deputy Jordan Parrish, and Linden Ashby will return as Sheriff Stillinski.
Earlier this year, the first footage from Teen Wolf: The Movie also showed that Crystal Reed will return as Allison Argent. The teaser took fans by surprise because during the series’ first run, Allison tragically died in Scott’s arms. Allison’s return softens the sting a little about the absence of fan-favorite character Stiles Stilinski. Dylan O’Brien told Variety that he made the decision not to return to the move, although he was grateful for the experience.
What Teen Wolf: The Movie about?
While the movie’s full plot has yet to be released, we do know that the movie will return to Beacon Hills a few years after the events of the series finale. At San Diego Comic-Con, Paramount+ revealed that the film will feature several returning supernatural creatures, including banshees, werecoyotes, hellhounds, kitsune, and other werewolves. They also teased that Scott McCall would have to gather his old friends along with “new allies” to face “the most powerful and deadly enemy” in wolf cub story.
