In a year full of many unlikely horror films, a new trailer for a strange, unauthorized horror adaptation has arrived. Dr. Seussfavorite book How the Grinch Stole Christmas! just arrived. Movie called Sneakystars Horror 2 star and now a horror icon David Howard Thornton like a killer version of the Grinch. Sneaky leads Stephen LaMortwho also gets the story on credit. Sneaky will be released in December of this year, just in time for the holidays.
The trailer is a camp demo, indicating that this movie is going to be so bad that it’s good, and prove to be a riot to the right audience. trailer for Sneaky begins with a classic scene where Cindy Lou (renamed Cindy You-Know-Who) walks down the stairs of her house and finds the Grinch disguised as Santa. However, the scene becomes frightening when the Grinch attacks Cindy Lou’s mother. The trailer jumps to 20 years later and Cindy Lou is traumatized by the Christmas holidays.
When she returns to her hometown of Newville, she questions about the “Christmas Killer” who was never caught. As the trailer progresses, the bloodthirsty Grinch returns to Newville to hunt down a few victims, but Cindy Lou won’t give up without an epic fight. While the trailer makes the horror movie look like a B-movie, it feels like a fun parody of slasher movies and one of the most classic Christmas tales of all time.
Sneaky is just one of several upcoming horror films based on classic children’s films that have since gone public. Among these names are Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honeywhich is currently scheduled to premiere on February 15, 2023, as well as Bambi: Reckoning as well as Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare. Atlas Film Distribution will distribute Sneaky theatrically. Besides Thornton, Sneaky stars Crystal Martin, Safina Chanadet, Chase Mullins, John Bigham, Eric Baker, Flip Kobler, Amy Schumacheras well as Christopher Sanders.
