James CameronX Avatar is an important milestone in the history of cinema for various reasons. The film attracted audiences on so many levels that the director had to scrap scripts when making the sequel. Avatar: Path of Water just to match the atmosphere of the original film. And like any good film, Avatar also left many fans wondering if the theme was in any way related to the director’s previous work. Cameron has a particularly strong track record of creating box office blockbusters with major themes of colonization, climate change and spirituality. In a recent interview with Empire magazine, when the author was asked Avatar has anything to do with his 1989 film abyssthe director showed how the themes are connected.

The director said, “Just the universe of my brain. And obviously I love bioluminescence. From early childhood I had a deep awe and admiration for all the wonders of nature, both above and below water. This is definitely what led to the creation of the Avatar.”
He further explained that with abyss, he had a different motivation. “That was my version The day the earth stood still, the result of my Cold War angst and commentary on how an alien superintelligence can be quite harsh in judging how we mistreat each other and our beautiful world.” On the other hand, Avatar takes us to the mystical world of Pandora, where we find people trying to dig up the valuable Na’vi mineral unobtanium. Cameron explained: Avatarwe are invaders from outer space, and a common theme with abyss is that we are being judged harshly by a more advanced alien culture, in this case the Na’vi, who live in harmony with nature in a way we have forgotten.”
Currently, water path is going to take us back to Pandora, where the story of Sally’s family unfolds as trouble follows them and shows the lengths they go to to protect each other. Returning actors Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldanha, Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Giovanni Ribisi, Dilip Rao, Matt Gerald as well as Sigourney Weaver. Bye Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clementas well as Brendan Cowell assemble a new star cast.
