The superhero genre of film may not be to everyone’s taste, and that’s okay (fans hear you, Scorsese). However, it is undoubtedly the hottest genre right now, and one of the most enduring, and its popularity is only growing. With fans all over the world, these films offer escape and thrilling adventures to all who appreciate them.

Marvel as well as COLUMBIA REGION presented their audience with some interesting plots, brand new characters and interesting concepts this year. However, while the 2022 superhero lineup looked pretty promising, it turned out that not all projects lived up to the high expectations placed on them by fans or critics. From man-bats and vampires to puppies and werewolves, here’s a quick look at 2022 superhero releases and their IMDb rankings.

The film is about scientist Michael Morbius, played by Jared Leto, who becomes infected with a form of transgenic vampirism while trying to find a cure for a blood disease; as you might expect, with superhuman powers comes an overwhelming bloodlust.

While it provides viewers with a decent amount of action scenes, Espinosa’s film has a lot of problems - for example, it’s incredibly lacking in CGI and lacks structure. Many fans also agree that the film has completely misunderstood its audience. However, the post turned into an internet meme, Sony’s third installment in the Spider-Man universe.hit theaters for the second time.

Rated 6.3 IMDb, Thor: Love and Thunder centers around yet another adventure of the God of Thunder, except this time it is scored with the help of a Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). They all plan to fight Gorr, the butcher god who seeks to destroy the gods.

Taika WaititiThe second MCU movie is arguably one of the most controversial films of the year. It seems that while some fans really enjoyed it, others were completely taken aback by his jokes and slightly empty plot. Except Christian BaleGreat acting, the movie feels somewhat underwhelming, which ended up disappointing a lot of people, especially given how good the director’s previous MCU installment is.

Ready to administer justice in the modern world without a drop of mercy, Dwayne Johnson steps into the role of DC’s most powerful anti-hero in an origin film that follows the events after the release of Teth-Adam from his tomb nearly 5,000 years later.

Bye Jaume Colle-Serrathe movie is hardly flawless. Black Adamended up being a pleasant surprise. The Man in Black is a fun and dynamic watch with just the right amount of humor. It has a score of 6.9 on IMDb.

5/8 Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - IMDb: 6.9/10

Doctor Strange’s second entry not only brings the Sorcerer Supreme back on stage, but also brings familiar faces, including Wanda Maximoff. (Elizabeth Olsen). Xochitl Gomez makes her MCU debut as America Chavez in this mesmerizing fantasy horror that follows the events of Spiderman: No Way Home. AT Multiverse of MadnessStrange tries to make amends after casting a forbidden spell and is desperate to restore reality as he knows it.

Bye Sam RaimiThe film also received mixed reviews when it was released, eventually proving itself worthy of IMDb with a 6.9 rating. Even if it lacked some aspects, and at times it felt more like Scarlet Witch than Doctor Strange, Mother However, this is a decent watch.

4/8 Werewolf by Night - IMDb: 7.2/10

wordplay, Michael GiacchinoThe Halloween special was nothing short of wonderful. The black-and-white film focuses on a lycanthrope superhero who uses his intriguing superpowers (which he acquired thanks to a curse imposed by his bloodline) to fight evil.

Exuding the atmosphere of old Hollywood monster movies at its best, Werewolf at nightseems like a breath of fresh air when it comes to the MCU. With a solid 7.2 rating, this surprisingly good and stylish feature is no doubt a tribute to the source material.

Crypto and Ace in DC League of Super-Pets

There is hardly anything more adorable than animated dogs with superpowers, and DC Super Pet League represents just that. In this action-packed movie, Superman’s pet and best friend, Krypto, goes on a rescue mission when his owner is kidnapped.

Wonderfully animated Animal Logic, Jared Stern as well as Sam J. Levinecute movie makes the watch cute, charming and funnyfor both children and adults. On IMDb, the film has a score of 7.3.

2/8 Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - IMDb: 7.3/10

A stunning image of grief and loss Ryan Cooglertouching respect Chadwick Boseman now leads Letitia WrightShuri does an excellent job of exploring how she overcomes anger and pain. In this powerful film, the people of Wakanda fight to defend their country while mourning the death of their king, T’Challa.

Definitely one of the best Marvel movies. Wakanda forever ranks second on this list with a score of 7.3 - second Black Panther The record as a whole is an incredible box-office success, a follow-up to the first part, and it has successfully lived up to the expectations of the fans.

With a dark vibe and a refreshing new take on the character, this neo-noir fan favorite has earned tons of praise since its premiere, and for good reason. While its slow pace and long running times may not suit everyone, many agree that Batman One of the best comic book adaptations.
