peacemaker was proof that the DC Extended Universe is capable of presenting its characters in a fun, serialized fashion. Marvel already has the ability to make superhero shows a critical component of streaming television. Darker DC themes may be appropriate for streaming series. Alternatively, a lot of lightheartedness and comedy could be invoked. DC already has a rich history of television adaptations, both animated and live-action.
The DCEU has already introduced many characters that could host their own series. From the beloved Harley Quinn to more obscure ones like King Shark, there’s a wide variety that a franchise can choose from. If the ultimate goal of the DCEU is to bring more of their characters together, it might be better for fans to get to know some of them on a deeper level. The series is the perfect place to delve into the backstories and motivations of the characters before bringing them together in future installments of the franchise.
Harley Quinn
Margot RobbieHarley Quinn of Harley Quinn has appeared in several DCEU projects so far. A very different version was presented in Suicide Squadfollowed by Predator birds as well as Suicide Squadin which the character was much more designed for the female gaze.
The Harley Quinn series could take several possible directions. Could be a sequel Predator birds story and see how she teams up with other female anti-heroes and villains. Alternatively, a series centered around Harley Quinn Robbie could also be similar to an animated series.
king shark
King Shark may be a creature of few words, but he certainly made his mark on this franchise. His first appearance in the DCEU was in Suicide Squada member of Task Force X. His brutality was offset by one- or two-word monotonous humor.
A series about king sharks could be a comedy. Each episode can be an adventure in its own right, with King Shark introducing some of DC’s most outlandish characters as they make their screen debut. Comedy can make up for the darker tones of the DCEU.
Leota Adebayo
Adebayo was an integral part peacemaker series as Amanda Waller’s daughter. She was a complex character, trying to do the right thing in dubious ways. Daniel Brooks brings the perfect amount of heart and humor to the role.
The Adeayo series could be a sequel peacemaker, in the sense that viewers could follow her journey by receiving various assignments from her mother. This will also be the place where the character will be included in the future. Suicide Squad projects. It could have been a dark cop comedy that Brooks could have played.
Lois Lane
Wouldn’t be Superman without Lois Lane. Amy Adamsversion was first introduced in Man of Steeland subsequently appeared in both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceas well as JUstica League. The Adams version of the character is a very down-to-earth journalist for the Daily Planet.
The Lois Lane series could be procedural journalism akin to The wire. It would be an opportunity for the character to open up even more. Lois Lane has great journalistic prowess that is perfect for the DCEU series.
Cyborg
Ray FisherCyborg was introduced in Justice League. It was reconstructed after a car accident that killed his mother and almost killed himself. His screen time has been limited so far, but this character has a lot of potential.
A cyborg series could be an origin story. With the story of this character being a high school football star, this could be a high school drama that follows Victor Stone years before he became a Cyborg. Fans can get to know this character better and look forward to seeing him in future DCEU films.
Rick Flag
Rick Flag has had a mixed history in the DCEU. He didn’t make friends with his introduction to Suicide Squad, who saw his character regurgitate exposition. His character received the best reception in Suicide Squadas he was given a more complete history.
While he may seem like an odd choice to headline his own series, more can be done with this character. He is an inadequate leader who is utterly incompetent for most of the tasks assigned to him. A comedy farce with Flag’s misguided leadership could be an interesting part of the DCEU.
antiope
Robin WrightAntiope was a feature amazing woman until her tragic death. She returned to Wonder Woman 1984, in a flashback recalling Wonder Woman’s training as a child. This Amazonian general was shown very briefly, but made a big impression on everyone.
The Antiope series could have been a war epic, recounting her backstory as the leader of the Amazons. This would give fans a chance to get to know Antiope more, as well as learn more about the Amazon military. It will be a women’s project that will be a great addition to the DCEU.
Measure
Amber HeardMera was theatrically presented in Justice League in a very short form. She was Aquamanthe main love interest in the character’s solo film. The comic canon has been more focused on that character’s own powers and storylines since Mera joined him. Justice League.
Although the character received generally mixed reviews from fans and critics, the series could have breathed new life into him. Taking an example from the comics, Mera can have her own story and character development. This hypothetical series could also be the setting for further exploration of Atlanta as a setting.
Mary Bromfield (Mary Marvel)
Shazam! was a superhero story about a family. One member of this family was Mary Bromfield, or Mary Marvel in the comics. In many ways, her character is the heart of Billy Batson’s found family. Along with her siblings, she gains superhero powers.
Really any of Shazam! siblings could run their own series while continuing to study Shazam knowledge. However, Mary as a leader is a natural choice to explore how this family deals with their new abilities. This series could certainly be a comedy, or it could be about Mary battling supervillains as she enters college and tries to live a normal life.
Huntress
DC has plenty of room for vigilantes, and the Huntress is one of the best. She was introduced to the DCEU in Predator birds along with Harley Quinn and Black Canary among others. No one has seen her since, but her performance was convincing.
The history of the Huntress may be Equalizera vigilante-style story in which a character is hired each week to solve a new crime by those who look outside the law. Series can create the future Predator birds history, or at least the Harley Quinn team. This series could also go in a completely different direction, turning into something of a workplace comedy, featuring the Huntress working with a ragtag team.
