Everyone has heard or read the tale of the treasure hunt. However, when Netflix External banks was released in 2020, the show was less of a treasure hunt tale and more of an escape pod for many caught in the grip of a pandemic. The teen drama continued in later years to garner a loyal following. Following the announcement of the third season and new members joining the cast, Netflix released the first trailer for the upcoming season on its virtual Tudum the festival. Welcome to Pogeland.

The teaser for the upcoming season opens with The Heavy Heavy in the background. All my dreams. The first scene we’re introduced to is a perfect paradise. At the end of the second season, the Pogs have taken up residence on a deserted island, and everything seems to be going like clockwork. Clear blue skies, pristine sand, soft crashing waves, definitely palm trees and JJ(Rudy Pankov) putting up a sign to let everyone where they are. However, in most blissful on-screen situations, it doesn’t last long. “My dad always said that nothing good comes easy.” – John B.Chase Stokes) He speaks. “Nothing worthy is given. The question is, what are you willing to do to win? How far will you go to get your treasure?”

In the middle of the voice-over, the teaser begins to gain momentum. There are a couple of brawls, including a brawl in the back of a moving van. All teenagers may be alive and well, but this does not mean that they have begun to make less dangerous maneuvers while continuing to search for the missing treasure. And yes… it’s a leap of faith that Ezio and the assassins would be proud of.

Season 2 left us in a breathtaking moment as the Pogues were in quite a predicament. However, with the help of Cleo (Karlisha Grant) the crew managed to escape, and it seems they went to heaven. The ending also caused systemic upheaval for Sarah (Madeleine Kline) and John B., since both of their fathers, who were presumed dead, were quite alive.

The previously mentioned Season 3 cast members have been joined by Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviess, Austin North, Drew Starkey, Charles Esten, Andy McQueen, Fiona Palomo as well as Lou Ferrigno Jr. We will also see the resurrected father of John B., Big John Rutledge (Charles Halford).
