The Coin Master is on his way to Yellowstone. Reported Game of Thrones alum Jerome Flynn join the cast 1923next series for Taylor Sheridanuniverse based on his very successful yellowstone series. He joins the cast, led by the stars of the series. Harrison Ford as well as Helen Mirren The series is slated to premiere this December on Paramount+.
According to Deadline, Flynn will play Banner Creighton, who is described as “a headstrong Scottish drifter and leader of the local sheep farmers.” The prequel series will focus on a different generation of the Dutton family than Kevin Costnerthe modern era seen in yellowstone. It takes place between the parent series and another prequel series. 1883The upcoming series is set in the titular year 1923 and will focus on the family patriarch Jacob (Ford) and his wife Kara (Mirren). The couple lead a ranch in Yellowstone and must face the challenges of the era, including prohibition, a pandemic, a historic drought and the looming threat of the Great Depression, while the family’s existence in Montana is threatened.
Flynn is best known for his role as Bronn on the HBO series. Game of Thrones series with other loans including Black mirror, ripper street, as well as John Wick Chapter 3 - Parabellum with his latest projects being TV movies Cunning producer Pip Broughton as well as Stephen Hopkins’ Dark tower based on the novel of the same name Stephen King. While we have an idea of Flynn’s character, we’re still not entirely sure how he’ll be involved in the show’s plot.
Flynn joins the cast, which includes the aforementioned stars Ford and Mirren, as well as Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Amina Nives, Julia Shlepfer, Brandon Sklenarand, more recently, Robert Patrick. Sheridan serves as series creator as well as executive producer with his fellow executive producers including John Linson, Art Linson, David S. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yarias well as Ben Richardson.
