“Here we are. Home Sweet Home”. This is what the man who escorts Dahmer to his apartment says, until he begins to notice the strange smell of the place and hears the door being locked behind him. After this incident, the trailer shows several more similar encounters in the apartment and gives viewers a glimpse of the horrific acts the killer performed on his victims. Tells his neighbor (plays Nisi Nash), which rightfully questions the noise and stench coming from Dahmer’s house, the trailer also shows the character visiting her and giving her a present. Given his experience with human meat, we can deduce that the meat in the sandwich was from one of his victims. There are also some quick shots of the perpetrator as a child, meaning there could be a few flashbacks in the narrative that would give some context to when and where his obsession with killing and eating people began. At the end of the trailer, Dahmer is seen wearing an orange jumpsuit during the trial, with a neighbor saying that she called the authorities several times and that it’s “too late” now.

Overall, it looks like the true crime series will capture the murders and the lack of police involvement in putting the killer behind bars. It is also expected to cover aspects of the criminal’s childhood and his journey to his destiny.
