The actress made several appearances in later seasons as Sela, the offspring of Tasha Yar from an alternate timeline who grew up to become a Romulan commander. During the convention, Crosby told fans Picard Season 3: “You will see Tasha Yar, but I won’t tell you how,” wrote a Twitter user. TXTrek who is present at the event.

While it’s tempting to assume the season is very bad - who’s the executive producer Alex Kurtzman confirmed female at SDCC last month - could be Sela, showrunner Terry Matalas also confirmed that Season 3’s villain is a brand new character. Matalas said that there is a hint of Tasha in the final season, and with Crosby’s comments, it will be interesting to see the beloved character return to the game. Many fans consider Tasha’s death a huge mistake since the early days of existence. TNG so hopefully any homage to the character will offer some sort of solution for those who were sad to see her go.
