Visitors to this year’s Terror Tram will experience Harry’s Hollywood Halloween, a kind of frightening immersive experience. Other haunted houses to catch during this year’s Halloween Horror Nights include MGM. Killer clowns from outer spaceinspired by the 1988 film as well The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare, a disturbing waking nightmare inspired by the work of a popular artist Weekends. Other Halloween Horror Nights events this year include Halloween, Bloomhouse Horror, Universal Monsters: Legends Clash, La Llorona: Weeping Woman, Scarecrow: The Harvestas well as Universal Horror Hotel. Famous hip hop dance team jabbawokiz will perform a nightly show at the Halloween event at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Halloween Horror Nights also adds several new spooky zones, including El Pueblo del Terror, sideshow massacreas well as Clownsaws. El Pueblo del Terror is an extension La Llorona: The Weeping Woman, while the other two fear zones are a separate issue. During Halloween Horror Nights, select Universal Studios Hollywood theme park rides will be open to the public. Selected non-horror attractions include Jurassic World - The Ride, Transformers™: The Ride-3D, The Mummy’s Revenge - The Rideas well as The Simpsons Ride. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will also be open, with Death Eaters roaming the village of Hogsmeade for the first time in an unsettling twist.
Tickets for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights are now on sale and can be purchased online or at the entrance to Universal Studios Hollywood. There are several ticket options, including general admission, universal express, RIP tour, and after 2pm day/night. There are also popular passes, including Frequent Fear Pass and Ultimate Fear Pass. Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights kick off September 8th with eight haunted houses. Universal Orlando Resort will also open its version of Halloween Horror Nights on September 2 with ten haunted houses.
