CBS will open maritime police as well as NCIS: Hawaii in their new seasons, along with the premiere of the crossover, in which the actors of both series will take part in the search for a dangerous criminal. The two-hour premiere will kick off maritime policea landmark 20th season on the network, with NCIS: Hawaii moving on to the second course. It all kicks off September 19 at 9:00 pm ET on CBS and Paramount+.
The leading event is maritime police with a premiere picking up where Season 19 left off with Special Agent Alden Parker (Gary Cole) and his ex-wife Vivian (Terry Polo) on the run after the ex is accused of fraud. Meanwhile, the rest of the team works tirelessly to clear his name, investigating all the old connections to find someone who can help him. For extra help they bring NCIS: HawaiiJane Tennant (ur.Vanessa Lachey) and Ernie Malik (Jason Antun) to help track down Raven, the big evil extremist from last season who seems to be the prime suspect. Jane and Ernie ended up in the nation’s capital to meet Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) about a global military operation leading directly into NCIS Hawaii premiere.
The second half of the event follows Tennant as she teams up with maritime policeNick Torres (English)Wilmer Valderrama) and Jessica Knight (Katrina Lowe) to track down Raven on Oahu. However, the stakes are incredibly high as they learn that he is plotting an attack on RIMPAC (Pacific Exercises), the world’s largest international naval military exercise. More maritime police cast, including Gary Cole, Brian Dietzenas well as Diona Reasonoverwill also appear throughout the episode.
This is the second time the two shows have met for a crossover, although CBS is certainly enjoying promoting this latest alliance. An exclusive and hilarious teaser courtesy of People shows Valderrama constantly interrupting Lasha as she tries to tell everyone about a top-secret, fan-favorite guest arriving in Hawaii. Both Valderrama and Law should already be familiar with the NCIS team at Pearl Harbor after moving on to the season one crossover, so expect them to fit in well with Lasha as the case develops.
Trilogy maritime police series which also includes NCIS: Los Angeles, was relaunched back in March after they continued to attract large viewership for CBS. Leading up to season 20 maritime police still remains the No. 1 television series and continues to generate buzz on social media, racking up “95.8 billion potential social media views” during its 19th season. NCIS: Hawaiimeanwhile, took first place in a new drama after introducing fans to the first female NCIS team leader in Lachey’s Jane Tennant last year.
