The 90s had some of the best adventure films that brought joy to so many people. Fans had a lot of funny films to choose from, but some adventure films made an impression and defined the decade. When Peter Pan returns, he must restore his youthful spirit in order to save the children. Such a fresh take on an old fairy tale made everyone fall in love with it. Robin Williams.
Peter Pan is a person that both adults and children can connect with, and Williams is the perfect balance between the two. Fans were also interested in seeing a different side of Hoffman, who enjoyed the role. They both had great chemistry, but the concept itself made this movie so memorable from the 90s.

Anything to do with the alien invasion of Earth is a surefire way to get any sci-fi buff to the cinema. It is also a Fourth of July classic due to President J. Thomas Whitmore (Bill Pullman) incredible speech. The movie is still relevant today because of how disturbing it was and the fact that aliens will always be cool no matter the decade.
Armageddon (1998) - Stream on Fubo
It seems like whenever the world is about to end, it just feels like a thrilling adventure movie. Director Michael Bay started making really strong films like Armageddon. After discovering that a Texas-sized asteroid is about to destroy Earth in less than a month, NASA recruits a small team of drillers to save the planet.
It really does feel like a loser’s story, but it’s the action that makes this movie so interesting to watch. Bay once knew how to build the wildest fight scenes without feeling like a mess. More obscure adventure films make the actors have fun and the audience can see the pleasure on their faces when watching the movie.
Jumanji (1995) - Broadcast on Hulu
One of the best adventure films of the 90s was Jumanji. And again, Robin Williams owned for a decade and brought so much joy to everyone’s life. Watching this movie as a child is different from watching it as an adult because of the change in perspective.
When two kids find a magical board game and an old man who is so out of touch with civilization appears from there, any kid can wonder if their board games can do the same. It’s such a cool concept, and when Sony decided to update and modernize it, it was video games, 90s kids could appreciate the update while feeling nostalgic for the original movie.
Space Jam (1996) - streaming on HBO Max
When Looney Tunes made their screen debut in a live action movie with space jam, it was something special. It was fun because Michael Jordan who was such a big name in the NBA and MLB, he starred in one of the most loved movies of the 90s. Tune Squad became popular and merchandise was everywhere.
FurthermoreLooney Tunes back in business also brought back the tunes again with Brendan Fraser. If fans need a kick of nostalgia, this is what defined the 90s thanks to basketball and Michael Jordan himself. It was also a nice addition to have Bill Murray come in and have fun with ringtones.

When some actors have great on-screen chemistry, it changes how the characters make an impression. AT zorro mask, Catherine Zeta-Jones as well as Antonio Banderas both were in their prime and looked great together.
