As the release date for She-Hulk approaching, Marvel Studios is ramping up promotion for the highly anticipated series, and of course, what better way to promote a new series than the ongoing San Diego Comic-Con. Along with a new trailer and poster, the upcoming series has exciting cast news. Beloved Supreme Warlock Wong will appear in the upcoming series.

Wong played by Benedict Wong first introduced the MCU in 2016 Doctor Strange opposite Benedict Cumberbatch. He last appeared in 2021. Shang Chi: Legend of the Ten Rings and 2022 Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness which also starred Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Xochitl Gomez as well as Rachel McAdams.

Given his growing importance to the MCU, it’s no surprise that the character will appear in another MKU project. However, we’re curious to see what role he will play in promoting the story of Jennifer Walter, aka She-Hulk. Despite his recent appearance in the show’s trailer, this remains to be seen.

Wong isn’t the only MCU alum to return to the series; as widely reported Mark Ruffalo is going to appear as the Hulk in the series as well Tim Roth like the Abomination from 2008 The incredible Hulk. Interestingly, the Abomination also appeared in Shang Chi: Legend of the Ten Rings opposite Wong.

In addition to Wong, Roth and Ruffalo, the series stars Tatiana Maslany, Jamila Jamilas well as Rene Ellis Goldsberry. She-Hulk Attorney at Law also has Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga as well as John Bass in your register.

The series follows Maslany’s character, Bruce Banner’s cousin, who gains similar powers and transforms into a 6ft 7in green alter ego after receiving a blood transfusion from Banner. Jennifer Walters of Maslany is also a lawyer who defends people with superpowers in the cinematic universe. The actress revealed that, unlike other parts of the MCU, the series will not primarily focus on the grandiosity of the superhero story, but rather on the legal drama aspect.

Again, the big question remains how Wong fits into She-Hulkbig picture. Well, there’s only one way to find out. She-Hulk Attorney at Law It’s set to premiere on August 17th on Disney+.
