There is nothing to count on cheap gasoline before the long weekend. According to e-petrol analysts, the rise in oil prices on world markets will soon be reflected in the retail market. More serious rise in prices at the stations can be seen in the fall, especially for diesel fuel.
“Trends in the world market should soon be reflected in the level of domestic prices, and the upward movement in the international market in recent days has been significant, mainly due to the limited supply of raw materials and the growing demand for raw materials in our part. of the world,” e-benz analysts write.
Gasoline prices
According to analysts’ forecasts, prices for 98th gasoline will rise next week to 7.17-7.29 zł/l. As for gasoline with an octane rating of 95, at most gas stations it can be sold at a price of PLN 6.61-6.73 per liter. Diesel fuel can also achieve higher prices, which will cost PLN 6.43-6.56/l. On the other hand, gas prices may fall, which in the coming days may cost PLN 2.74-2.81 per liter.
“The reason for the upward forecasts for retail prices may be the size of the mark-ups of gas station operators in recent days - according to our estimates, in the case of 95th gasoline it was a penny, and in the case of diesel it was almost absent,” we read in a commentary on e-gasoline .
Rise in diesel prices
According to BM Reflex analysts, fuel prices will be relatively stable until the end of the summer. However, from September we can see a significant increase in the price of diesel fuel, the price of which could jump to PLN 6.80 per liter and be higher than the price of gasoline.
“Diesel stocks in the European ARA market fell 2.6% last week. up to 2.06 million tons. The inventory level is 7 percent. higher than last year, but low for this time of year. In the US, oil inventories fell 1.7 million barrels last week, down 17 percent, according to the EIA. lower than the 5-year average for that time of year. The level of oil stocks before the upcoming autumn-winter season will become increasingly important, and so far in the summer in both the US and European markets, oil stocks have not recovered significantly.
