In March 2024, pensioners and disability pensioners will have their payments indexed. Indexation of pensions in 2024
Indexation of pensions and annuities is provided for by the Law of December 17, 1998. According to it, benefits for pensioners should be indexed in March of each year.
In 2023, pensions and annuities grew by a whopping 14.8 percent. There are many signs that next year it may be lower - according to assumptions adopted by the Council of Ministers, it should be 12.3%. However, Donald Tusk assures that repeated indexation is possible, which will depend on the level of inflation.

Data from the National Bank of Poland shows that the average inflation rate is expected to be 4.6 percent. The European Commission’s forecasts assume inflation at 6.2%.
