When is the 13th pension? ZUS President spoke about the date of the first payments

- ZUS pays “thirteen” along with the April old-age or disability pension. If your benefit payment date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or other public holiday, ZUS will pay you before that holiday. For example, if the pension payment date falls on April 10, the pensioner will receive his pension along with the “thirteen” before Easter, said the head of the ZUS, prof. Gertrude Ushinska.

When is the thirteenth pension paid?

Schedule for payment of the thirteenth pension: April 1 (payment on March 31), April 5, April 6, April 10, April 15, April 20, April 25.

The President of ZUS also recalled that most of the more than 10 million pensioners and pensioners will already receive indexed benefits.

Record indexation of pensions is a consequence of inflation

Since March 1, pensions and disability pensions have increased by 14.8 percent. This year, indexation is based on amount and percentage, using a guaranteed increase of PLN 250 gross. According to ZUS calculations, persons whose benefits amounted to, for example, PLN 1,338.44, after indexation receive another PLN 250, i.e. PLN 1,588.44. The pension of PLN 2,000 increased by PLN 296 to PLN 2,296, which means an additional PLN 3,552 per year. Pensioners receiving an allowance of PLN 3,000 after indexation receive PLN 3,444 (an increase of PLN 444).

Probably, at the turn of August and September, pensioners will receive their fourteenth pension, which will become a permanent benefit from this year. As the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Malong, recently stated, a draft law on this issue is ready and will soon be submitted to the Council of Ministers.
