In 2023, Porsche recorded strong growth and increased deliveries. Strong Europe and weak China

In Europe (excluding Germany), Porsche delivered 70,229 vehicles last year, up 12 percent on the previous year. more than in 2022. In the German domestic market, 32,430 customers received their new cars – an increase of 10%. North America reported 86,059 deliveries (+9%), making it Porsche’s largest sales region in 2023.

911 with strong growth

The best-selling model was the Cayenne. Last year, the SUV was chosen by 87,553 buyers (-8%). Porsche attributes the decline compared to 2022 to generational changes, including the phased introduction of the new version to global markets starting with its April debut, as well as software updates for hybrid variants. The Porsche Macan was delivered to 87,355 customers, maintaining the level from 2022. In the final year of its life cycle, the previous generation Porsche Panamera recorded 34,020 deliveries. The new generation of the luxury sedan, presented in November, will be available to customers from 2024. The 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman delivered 20,518 units (+13%).

Difficult 2024

What’s next for Porsche in 2024? Detlev von Platen expects problems: – We are updating four of the six model series – that’s more product launches with phased introductions than ever before in a single year. He expects market conditions in China to remain challenging. In 2024, more than ever, we will focus on development focused on stable sales levels.
