An analysis of almost 300 price lists for tire replacements for the spring season at car workshops cooperating with Dobrymechanik.pl shows that prices continue to rise. The cost of the service increased by an average of 9%. between Q4 2022 and April 2023. Prices depend on the size and type of wheels.
The larger the rim, the more expensive the tire replacement. We will pay an average of PLN 24 for each inch of rim over 16 inches. Tire replacement prices in April 2023 increased by an average of 9% compared to the last quarter of 2022. For a tire change on an aluminum rim up to 16 inches, we pay an average of 143 PLN, on a 17-inch aluminum rim - 165 PLN, on an 18-inch - an average of 186 PLN, and on a 19-inch - 186 PLN. will be PLN 211. Owners of aluminum rims 21″ and larger will bear the biggest costs - the price for the spring season 2023 is PLN 264. The increase did not spare steel rims - the cost of replacing a tire will be PLN 120.
What does it cost extra?
Owners of SUVs, run-flat tires and those equipped with pressure sensors will pay more for tire replacements. An additional paid service is the storage of tires on the vulcanizer.

Data from the Polish Tire Industry Association (PZPO) clearly shows that Poles are saving money on new tyres. In the last quarter of 2022, passenger car tire purchases fell by 18 percent. However, the savings don’t end there.
