Chief Commissioner Robert Opas of the Traffic Directorate of the Police Headquarters provided information on police statistics to the Polish Press Agency.

Fewer injured, young people are still the most dangerous
The number of wounded also decreased. “In 2022, 24,000 people were injured in road traffic accidents. 743 people. Compared to 2020, the number of victims decreased by 1,000 people. 720 (-6.5%). Compared to 2021, this number has decreased by 1,000 people. 672 people (-6.3 percent),” Superintendent Robert Opas said.
