His brothers called him “Tiktoker”: the father of two children from the Vinnitsa region died in the war

Defending Ukraine, died soldier Viktor Gulchak from Strizhavka, Vinnytsia region. This happened on August 12 during the execution of a combat mission in the area of ​​​​the village of Robotino, Zaporozhye region, as a result of an assault on the enemy’s position. After being wounded, the soldier was taken to the Zaporozhye City Clinical Emergency and Ambulance Hospital. After the operations, Victor was in a coma, fought for his life for two days, but on August 14 his heart stopped. The hero was only 36, according to the Strizhava community.

“Victor received the specialty of an electric and gas welder of artistic metal products, plumbing at the Higher Art Vocational School No. 5. In civilian life he worked as a builder. In 2019, he started a family with his wife Svetlana.

On the third day after Russia’s full-scale invasion, Viktor volunteered for the Ukrainian National Guard. He was a senior sapper of the 3rd branch of engineering fences of a platoon of engineering fences of an engineering and sapper company of the support forces group of military unit 3028, a senior soldier.

In 2022, near Bakhmut, a soldier received two shrapnel wounds in the thigh. After a long treatment, he went to study in Zolochevo to improve his qualifications as a senior sapper. Then he was sent to the Zaporozhye region in the village of Robotino. His brothers called him “Tiktoker” because he liked to make videos for social networks.

“Victor was cheerful, had a good disposition, a sense of justice. He was at home in friendly societies and loved life … At home, his wife, son Maxim, 3-year-old daughter Victoria and sister Oksana were waiting for him“.

On August 16, the hero was honored with a living corridor. Buried on the Walk of Fame with all honors.
