Singer Sergei Babkin, who went abroad with his wife and three children during the war, got into a scandal in the United States. The artist is now on a charity tour of the cities of the USA and Canada, performs with the 5’nizza group and sings in Russian “Soldier of a God Forgotten Country”.

This outraged the Ukrainians who were present at the concert. Among the spectators was the former boyfriend of Ksenia Mishina, Alexander Ellert, who during the full-scale war in Ukraine lives and works in America.

“Recently I was at a concert of one of my favorite bands 5’nizza. It was good emotions, nostalgia, cool memories.”Ellert noted.

However, he was outraged that Sergei Babkin and Andrei Zaporozhets performed the hit “Soldier” in Russian. Alexander also stressed that there were also citizens of the aggressor country in the hall.

After a wave of hate in the comments in defense of Babkin, his wife Snezhana became. She explained that the group 5’nizza and Sergey Babkin are different musical projects. According to her, the band performs songs in Russian. She assured that Babkin did not sing in the language of the occupier at solo concerts. And since the charity tour is at 5’nizza, the band’s repertoire sounds on stage - in Russian.
