Peach jam with paprika

  • 1 kg peaches

  • 3 pcs. red paprika

  • 1 lemon

  • 3 star anise

  • sugar 0.5 kg

Peel the peaches. cut into slices, sprinkle with sugar, leave on bare five to let the juice flow. Peel the paprika, pass through a meat grinder, add to the peaches and boil for 10 minutes, stirring, remove the foam. Remove the jam from the heat, let it cool completely, and the peaches will be well saturated with sugar.

The next day - remove the zest from the lemon, peel the fruit from the grains, scroll the pulp in a meat grinder. Boil the mixture of paprika and peaches again over low heat for 10 minutes. Add lemon zest, lemon juice, and star anise - boil for another 5 minutes, pour into jars.
